The Bench's suggestions
Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read
The rules-based nudges on your Today screen — what generates them and how to work the list.
The Bench doesn't just show what you scheduled — it suggests what you might be missing.
Where suggestions come from
Each one is a rule reading your own data, plainly explained:
- A commission sitting too long in one stage.
- A VIP with no contact inside their cadence.
- A quote past its follow-up window.
- A client past their reorder pattern.
- A fitting outcome never recorded.
No mystery: every suggestion says why it fired.
Working the list
Each suggestion carries its action — open the record, send the note, book the thing. Act on it or dismiss it; dismissals matter, because the list stays honest only if it reflects your judgement.
Suggestions vs automations
Automations handle touches that should always happen — no human needed. Suggestions surface the ones needing your judgement first. The craft is moving things from the second pile to the first as you learn to trust the recipe.
Ten minutes on the Bench with coffee — fittings, follow-ups, suggestions — and the day starts already ahead.
