We built the software we couldn't buy — for our own bench.
Faden began as the internal system of a made-to-measure house drowning in cutting tickets and lost measurements. Other tailors asked to use it. So we made it a product.
Made-to-measure is a craft of details — the drop of a shoulder, the sweep of a lapel, a posture adjustment that changes an entire pattern. Yet most studios run on a patchwork of spreadsheets, messaging apps and paper dockets, re-typing the same order into three places and hoping nothing gets lost between the sale and the workroom.
Faden replaces that patchwork with one platform. A branded client portal where clients design their own garments. A CRM that remembers every commission. Fit profiles that improve with each order. And a production board that carries the work from cutting bench to final fitting — all sharing a single client and a single order.
We named it after the one thing every garment is made of: Faden is German for thread. We build for tailors, made-to-measure studios and suiting brands — from a single fitter taking their first online orders to multi-studio operations running their own factory floor. The goal is always the same: let you spend less time on admin and more time on the cloth.

Principles we build on
Craft first
The trade came before the software. Every feature is shaped by how tailoring actually works — the cloth, the canvas, the fitting, the factory.
One source of truth
A studio shouldn't run on nine disconnected tools. The sale, the fit and the production all live in one record, on one thread.
Your brand, not ours
Your customers should see you — your name, your domain, your look. We stay in the background where a platform belongs.
Own your data
Clients, orders and reports are yours to export any time. No lock-in, no commission on your sales.
