Delivery, collection and closing out

Updated 16 July 2026 · 1 min read

The last mile: ready-to-collect messages, shipped tracking, and what happens to the garment's record afterwards.

The commission isn't done when the pressing is — it's done when the client has it and loves it.

Ready for collection

Mark the commission ready and the client gets the message automatically (SMS or email per your settings) — pressed and ready, we're open until 5:30. Collections book into the Diary like any appointment if you prefer them scheduled.

Shipping instead

For distance clients, create the shipment from the commission — with Australia Post connected, the label prints and tracking attaches itself. The client follows progress from their portal.

After the handover

  • The garment joins the client's wardrobe in their portal — what they own, from you.
  • The commission closes on the Board and rolls into your reports.
  • The relationship continues: reorder nudges and review requests can fire on their own — see Automations.
A short message a week after collection — "how's it wearing in?" — costs nothing and catches the small issue before it's a quiet grudge. There's an automation recipe for exactly this.
