Fit intelligence: what Faden watches for

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

Deltas between measurement sets, trend alerts and grading help — quiet checks that catch problems before the cloth is cut.

Faden reads the numbers so patterns don't hide in them.

Deltas between sets

When a new measurement set is saved, Faden compares it to the last one and shows the deltas. A big jump gets flagged — most flags are typos caught before they reach a factory, the rest are real change worth a conversation.

Trends over time

A client measured across years tells a story — gradual change shows up as a trend on the record, so a reorder two years later starts with "let's re-measure" instead of a remake.

Grading help

Where your sizing standard applies, Faden can grade between sizes from a base set — a starting point the tailor refines, not a replacement for judgement.

Posture and maker notes

Observations captured at a fitting (stance, shoulder drop, preferred ease) ride with the commission to production, so the person cutting sees what the person measuring saw.

None of this replaces the tape. It exists to make sure what the tape said actually reaches the cloth.
