Fitting mode: hands-free capture at the rail

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

A full-screen, tap-first flow for running a fitting — measurements, notes and outcomes without touching a keyboard.

Fitting mode is the back office folded away — just you, the client and the garment.

Starting a session

Press Fitting mode in the top bar (or open it from the day's appointment). Pick the client and you're in a full-screen session view.

Built for the rail

  • Big targets, one thing at a time — designed for a phone or tablet in one hand.
  • Measurements — capture or update the set point by point, with guides for each measure.
  • Notes as you go — posture observations, cloth behaviour, what to tell the factory.
  • Outcomes — mark what needs altering and the session writes it to the commission.

Afterwards

Everything captured lands where it belongs: measurements version onto the client record, alteration needs onto the order, and the session onto the Yarn — so the next person who opens the record sees exactly what happened at the rail.

Fitting mode works well on a tablet mounted by the mirror — many studios keep one there permanently.
