Presets: your house looks

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

Saved starting points — the signature two-piece, the wedding standard — that make designing faster and steer clients well.

A blank canvas is slow. Presets are complete designs — cloth, construction, details — saved as starting points.

Why they work

  • Speed at the counter — start from The House Two-Piece and adjust, rather than walking every choice from zero.
  • Steering online — on your public design tool, presets are the difference between a visitor assembling something odd and one refining something you'd be proud to make.
  • Consistency — the house look stays the house look, whichever of the Hands is at the counter.

Building them

The Rail → Presets. Design the garment once, name it well (Wedding Standard, City Flannel), save. A handful of strong presets beats twenty vague ones.

Where they appear

Presets front the design tool on both sides of the counter — yours and the client-facing one. Seasonal rotation (a summer cloth story, a wedding set in spring) keeps the shelf feeling alive.

Look at what clients actually pick and prune. Presets are merchandising — the design tool's shop window.
