SMS from your studio: how sending works

Reminders and messages by text — the built-in house number, monthly credits and top-ups, a dedicated number of your own, or bring your own Twilio.
Fitting reminders and quick messages work far better as texts. Here's how SMS works in Faden.
Out of the box
Every studio can send SMS through Faden's built-in house number — nothing to set up. Reminders, confirmations and Inbox replies just work.
Credits
Your plan includes a monthly SMS allowance; message sends draw from it, and it refreshes each billing month. Need more? Buy a top-up pack in the Twilio notion room — top-up credits don't expire, and you can switch on auto top-up so a busy month never silently stops your reminders. Meters in the room show exactly where you stand.
Your own number
Want replies and caller ID on a number that's yours? The dedicated number add-on gives your studio its own — clients see one consistent number, and inbound texts land in your Inbox threaded to the right client.
Bring your own Twilio
Already have a Twilio account? Connect it in Notions → Twilio and sends go through your account instead — unmetered, never touching your Faden credits.
Consent matters
Marketing messages only go to clients who've consented — Faden enforces this for you. Transactional messages (reminders, confirmations) are always allowed.
Set which events send SMS vs email in Settings → Messaging — Faden already prefers SMS for numbers that can receive it.
