The Diary: appointments & fittings

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

Views per tailor, conflict flags, automatic reminders, and letting clients book themselves within the hours you set.

The Diary runs your appointments — consultations, fittings, collections.

Views

Switch between Day (a column per tailor), Week, Month and Agenda. Double-booked slots are flagged as conflicts before they happen.

Booking

Book from the Diary itself (it suggests open slots), from a client record, or with + Create → Fitting.

Reminders and confirmations go out automatically by email or SMS — tune the timing and wording in Settings → Messaging.

Let clients book themselves

Turn on self-serve booking in Settings → Scheduling: set your hours, buffer times and appointment types, and clients can book from their portal. You stay in control — they only ever see slots you've allowed.

Sync with your own calendar

Connect Google Calendar or Outlook in Notions and appointments flow both ways — bookings appear in your calendar, and your busy blocks stop Faden double-booking you. See Setting up Google Workspace.
