The Yarn: one thread per client

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

Every note, call, message, file and order event on a single timeline — with a composer that captures each in two taps.

Open any client and the Yarn runs down the record — one thread holding everything that's ever happened with them.

What's on it

Notes, logged calls, emails and SMS (sent and received), files, appointments, order events, payments — in order, newest first, with the trivial stuff (system whispers) kept visually quieter than the things a human wrote.

The composer

At the top, the composer switches mode: note, log a call, email, SMS, task, file. Two taps to capture the thing while it's fresh — a record you'll actually keep is worth ten perfect ones you won't.

Pinned and upcoming

Pin what matters permanently ("always double-cuff", "never call before 10am") and it stays at the top. Anything scheduled — the next fitting, a due follow-up — shows in Upcoming above the history.

Why bother

The Yarn is what makes handover painless and absence safe: anyone in the studio can pick up any client and know exactly where things stand. The client who says "as I mentioned last time" — you'll know what they mentioned.
