The audit log: who did what
Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read
A tamper-evident record of every meaningful action — searchable, exportable, and quietly watching so you don't have to.
Every meaningful action in your studio writes an audit line — who, what, when.
What's recorded
Sign-ins, record changes, refunds and discounts, exports, settings changes, permission grants, support access — the actions you'd want an answer about later. Each line carries the actor, so "who changed the deposit policy?" takes seconds, not an investigation.
Tamper-evident
Entries are chained — each references what came before, so a deleted or altered line breaks the chain visibly. The log isn't just a record; it's a record you can trust.
Where to look
Settings → Security & data carries the activity view — filter by person, action or period. Export to CSV for your accountant, an insurer, or a dispute.
When it earns its keep
Mostly never — and that's the point. The day something's off (a discount nobody remembers, missing stock, a client claim), the log is the difference between knowing and guessing.
Faden's own platform actions are audited to the same chain — including support access, which also needs your PIN. See How support gets in.
