Every commission as a card moving through your stages — with auto-advance for the steps machines can see.
The Board is the wall of the workroom, digitised: every open commission as a card in a stage column.
The stages
Cards move from order through production — cutting, making, finishing — to fitting and collection. Drag a card to move it, or let auto-advance move it for you when the underlying work is logged (a payment lands, a fitting outcome is recorded, a factory updates a ticket).
Reading the wall
- A crowded column is a bottleneck — the Board shows where work piles up before anyone complains.
- A stale card (sitting too long in one stage) is flagged, because the commission nobody touched for three weeks is the one that becomes an apology.
- Awaiting approval collects anything needing a decision — a client sign-off, a quote pending. See Quotes and approvals.
Cards are doors
Every card opens into the full commission — items, payments, alterations, notes and its place in the client's story.
The Board and the Diary between them are the studio's morning: what's moving, and who's coming in.
