Measurements from a distance
Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read
Remote clients: portal submissions you approve, video consultations, and body-scan input where you use it.
Not every client can stand in your studio. Faden gives you three distance tools, all landing in the same versioned measurement history.
Portal submissions
Clients can view their measurements in their portal and submit updates. Submissions wait for your approval — nothing a client types goes to production unchecked. Pair the submission with your measuring guide and it works surprisingly well for repeat clients.
Video consultations
For a first-time distance client, book a video consultation and walk them through each measure live — you watch the tape placement, they read the number, you type it. Slower than in person, far better than hoping.
Body-scan input
If your studio uses a scanning app or booth, scan results can come in through the body-scan notion and land as a measurement set — reviewed like any other before use.
Whatever the source, the set is versioned and flagged like an in-studio measure — see Fit intelligence.
