Parties: weddings and event groups

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

A wedding is one job with many bodies — parties keep the group's fittings, orders and deadlines together.

A wedding party is the classic studio job that goes wrong in a spreadsheet: six people, one deadline, three cities. Parties exist for exactly this.

The party record

The Book → Parties groups the people — the couple, groomsmen, family — under one record with the event date everything works back from. Each member is a full client; the party is the lens that shows them together.

What you see

  • Every member's status at a glance — measured? ordered? fitted? collected?
  • The orders across the group and where each sits on the Board.
  • The stragglers — the groomsman who hasn't booked his fitting shows up plainly, weeks before he becomes an emergency.

Members far away

Distance members can submit measurements through the portal and join video consultations — see Measurements from a distance.

Set the party's event date the moment it's known — deadline pressure is the whole game with group work, and everything in the party view reads against it.
