Connect Stripe, take the deposit, send payment links, and set your invoice numbering and terms — the money basics in one pass.
Money in Faden runs through your own Stripe account — payouts land in your bank, and Faden is never in the money path.
One-time setup
- Connect Stripe — the full walkthrough is Connecting Stripe to take payments.
- Set invoice numbering, payment terms, bank details and the receipt layout in Settings → Payments & invoicing.
Ways to get paid
- Deposit at commission — taken when the order is raised; the balance is tracked.
- Payment links — send a link by email or SMS for a client to pay from anywhere.
- Saved cards — with consent, charge a card on file for the balance.
- In person — Stripe Terminal readers are supported for tap-to-pay at the counter.
Where it all shows up
Every payment lands on the commission and the client's Yarn, reconciles in your reports, and — if you connect Xero or another ledger in Notions — flows into your accounting automatically.
