Campaigns and discount codes
Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read
Codes with rules, referral rewards on both sides, and campaigns that respect consent.
Campaigns (The Ledger → Campaigns) is the studio's promotion drawer.
Discount codes
Create codes with rules — percentage or fixed amount, validity window, usage limits. A code applies at checkout and shows plainly on the commission and the reports, so you always know what a promotion actually cost.
Referrals
The referral recipe rewards both sides — the client who refers and the friend who arrives. A referred stranger walks in warmer than any ad can make them; the code is just the excuse to mention you.
Campaign sends
Promotional messages go only to consented clients — Faden enforces it. Segment before sending: a winter-cloth story to past outerwear buyers beats a blast to the whole book, and your reports show who those buyers are.
Watch the discount habit
Studios sell craft, not clearance. Codes work best scarce — a referral reward, a party group rate, a quiet-season nudge — and the Campaigns view shows redemption so you can see when a code has done its job.
Staff discount authority has caps — see budgets in Roles and permissions.
