Who the email comes from

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

Team address or your own name, connected mailboxes, and what it means for where replies land.

Every email from Faden carries a deliberate identity — pick it per message in the writer's From selector.

The two identities

  • The studio — sent as the house (Team · yourstudio address). Replies thread back into the shared Inbox, where anyone can pick them up. Right for order updates and anything another Hand might need to continue.
  • You — sent under your own name; replies come to you. Right for the personal thread with your own client.

Your own address, not ours

Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and mail goes out through your actual mailbox — your domain, your deliverability, your sent folder. Without a connection, Faden sends on your behalf from its own infrastructure, cleanly identified.

Automatic mail follows suit

Reminders, confirmations and receipts use the studio identity and your branding — logo, colours, footer — set in Settings → Brand and Settings → Messaging.

One habit worth setting: personal relationships on me, operational traffic on the studio. The Inbox stays coherent and nothing gets stranded in one person's mailbox.
