Tech packs: the cut sheet your maker reads

The tech pack is the single document production works from — if it's right, the garment usually is.

What's on it

• Measurements — the client's approved set, in your units.
• The design — garment, options, construction choices, monogram and lining details.
• Cloth — the fabric, and quantity where yield applies.
• Maker notes — posture observations and instructions from fittings, in the tailor's words.

Shaping the template

Settings → Production & fit → tech-pack templates controls the sheet's sections and order — factories have habits, and the sheet should match how yours reads a job, not fight it. Different templates suit different makers.

The notes matter most

A measurement says what; a note says why — "right shoulder low, ease through the seat, client dislikes high armholes". That's the difference between a first fitting and a third. Capture them at the rail (Fitting mode) and they ride the sheet automatically.
