How Faden protects your studio

Updated 15 July 2026 · 1 min read

Tenant isolation, encrypted client data, a tamper-evident audit trail and tested backups — the posture in plain language.

Your book is your business. Here's how it's protected, without the jargon.

Your data is walled off

Every studio's data is isolated at the database layer — the separation between studios is enforced by the database itself on every query, not by application code remembering to filter. One studio cannot read another's rows, full stop.

Sensitive fields are encrypted

Your end-clients' personal details are encrypted at rest with per-studio keys — a leaked backup or stolen disk doesn't give up your book in readable form.

Every action is on the record

Staff and platform actions write to a tamper-evident audit log — entries are chained so alteration is detectable. See The audit log.

Backups

Encrypted backups run continuously, stored off the primary system. You can additionally take your own export any time — see Data Control.

Even our support knocks

Faden's own support cannot open your studio without a consent PIN you issue — and even then the session is masked. See How support gets in.

Your side of the bargain: strong passwords, MFA on, and roles scoped to the job — see MFA and sessions.
